You know. I watched this live on TV and I did not realize how big of a deal it really was. I mean seriously, two NBA super stars wrestling. Theres no way that would be allowed these days.

It was poor wrestling and cheap finishes like that which sent WCW down the pan. While WCW spent millions on fiasco's like that, Austin was having the fued of the century with Vince McMahon/The Rock.
And just think, now we have Hornswaggle vs The Coach.
If you have no idea who either of these people are, do yourself a favor and forget I ever mentioned it. Cerially.

hahaha sweet. although wrestling is a joke to me, its cool to see ACTUAL ATHLETES try it.
Even if it's not a sport I wouldn't go that far. These people are in great shape (even if it's because of HGH).
and would not know the first thing about being an athletes.
Kurt Angle - Olympic Gold Medalist in wrestling
Brock Lesnar - NCAA Wrestling Champ and current UFC fighter
Bill Goldberg - NFL Atlanta Falcons
Lex Luger - NFL Green Bay Packers
Paul Orndoff - NFL Chiefs
Ron Simmons - NFL Browns
Brian Pillman - NFL Bengals
Jim Duggan - NFL Falcons
Ed "Wahoo" McDaniel - NFL Broncos, Oilers, Chargers, Dolphins, and the Jets.
John Bradshaw Layfield - NFL Raiders
Ahmed Johnson - NFL Cowboys
The Rock - NCAA Football and CFL
Monty Brown - NFL Patriots and Bills
I could go on and on all day...
Point being, do these people really have no idea what it takes to be an athlete?

Bob Saget there's no reason to crap in this thread.
Wrestling fans get enough guff already and you aren't going to convince anyone to not like something they love and nobody is going to convince you to like wrestling so go away and post in a thread where you'll have a USEFUL contribution.

I remember that.
That was probably around the time I stopped watching wrestling.
I was a big Goldberg fan back in the day. I think I stopped watching a couple weeks after Goldberg got zapped with a cattle prod by Scott Hall (I think) and had his first loss ever.
Its so dumb, I can barely even stand to watch a few minutes of wrestling anymore.
Real fighting is awesome though. UFC, PRIDE, etc...

Shawn Michaels vs John Cena about 3 or 4 months ago. A 1 hour match that by the end the entire crowd was standing and cheering every move. At its best, wrestling CAN be incredible. The problem is, thats quite rare.

Plus Cena looks like he raided a Florida pharmacy.

I was really into it during the first NWO and the WWE Attitude era. I continue watching, mostly out of habit. There are a few stars that really get me excited, but for the most part its a big load of crap.

what in the world are you talking about?
i just mentioned how i hate it when they call wrestlers athletes. Maybe some used to be athletes, but they are all pathetic freaks now.
Also no one is forcing people to like wrestling, if they get "guff", and dont like it, STOP WATCHING IT. Do yourself a favor. If they do like to watch it, then the "guff", shouldn't matter. How the hell is it my fault?
What are you talking about? I'm just thread crapping! I'm taking shots at what's being discussed in a thread that's all. It's not a problem really!

You're the one clicking the "submit reply" button in a thread about a topic you have no interest in. :p
Funny thing happened the other day guys.
A friend of mine who is in the national guard asked me if I wanted to go see WWE RAW with him some time next month. I was just sorta sitting there going "uhhhhhhhhhhhh" because I really don't watch wrestling... but its free because he's in the military.
I might go, just for something to do. :p
