I haven't heard very good things about buying EA downloads. I hear if you need to re-install it, it a pretty difficult thing to do through EA. You can't just download it again like you can on Steam. I'm gonna wait for a hard copy. If Steam had it, I'd get it from them.

Exactly. You've already paid for it. So why not? They got their money and you get your game.

So far I'm about 2 hours in and it's just more of the same from the demo... run, cloak, shoot, run, cloak, shoot. Pretty mindless. The story from COD4 drove me to want to see what is next. Oh yeah and the AI is ridiculous - you shoot a guy from cover in cloak with a silenced weapon and everyone knows exactly where you are even the guys in boats 2 miles away..ok sure. Pretty lame game, most people will get bored fast with it. At least TimeShift and HL2 EP2 had puzzles to figure out not just run and gun. COD4 you change personas and get to play with different weapons and locales. This is just jungle and then more jungle so far.

In my opinion it gets besser with every level. At least with almost every level.

Well I guess there is always going to be people around that will trash any game. These people seem to spend more time on forums trashing games than playing them.

Some hate FarCry which is one of my better games. If one didn't like FarCry, they are surely not going to like Crisis either as the two are very similar in nature (which is a good thing to me).

Some like more linear games where the developers can orchestrate the action/experience and others like more non-linear games where creativity creates a more satisfying experience. I personally like both, which is why i am very happy with Crysis.
