Finally got around to viewing it, pretty impressed. Video transfer is 4/5, very strong. TrueHD audio track was excellent. Good buy. Sorry BD, you don't have it :)

I've never seen top gun in full, just parts of it, and when I was a kid at that.

My co-worker has told me that it is mostly a homoerotic movie because it features mostly locker scenes. :D

Give me a ****ing break. Yes those scenes are there. However as a 100% heterosexual male I am telling you to see the ****ing movie.

I heard the DNR was pretty bad on it... Haven't seen it personally for obvious reasons (I am straight).

It doesn't include mostly locker scenes, and given your friends reaction he's either homophobic or a homo. It is a good movie, not my one of my favorites, but a good movie.

Top Gun HD DVD has simply awesome sound and great video quality especially for a film of its age!

Wow I need a HDDVD player to watch this.... Honestly.

No £99 players here in the UK. I am not using that crappy 360 add on.

Top Gun is my favorite movie of all time. Real jet footage just does it for me...and the soundtrack...dont even get me started

Top Gun's one of those movies that put Tony Scott on track to big time director. I always enjoy his flicks.

The soundtrack is the reason you must own this HD DVD. They remastered it in TrueHD and it is incredible, completely murders my old DVD version it replaced.
