I checked My local ad this morning for Circuit City and was quite pleased to find that they will have it available Wednesday with a $10 discount on both SKU's.

Regular - $39.99
Special Edition - $49.99

Just called Gamestop and they WON'T honor the price match. Looks like I'll be going to get my $5 back and getting the regular edition from CC. Thanks top!!

The Circuit City stores near me get new release games in so late though. They just started getting Gears of War in. You may be waiting a while for Crysis.

Same, the CC store near me also gets new releases around 2-4 weeks later minimum. I remember when Doom 3 came out, the Circuit City near me didn't get it till a month later.

But I already pre-ordered the collectors edition from EB games. Gotta get that extra vehicle!

I was at my CC yesterday and they had GoW, COD4 and Jericho there, maybe your CC sucks lol. :captnkill:

CC always pulls crap like 39.99 + $10 gift card... why the hell would I want to buy a gift card from your dumb arse?

ever since I quit working there I haven't stepped foot into one of those god forsaken stores :lol:

from personal experience with these sort of promotions I can gaurantee that it will be $49.99 total plus tax for the regular version because they will force you to buy your "free" $10 gift card. If you want the collectors edition it will be $59.99 plus tax.

The only way it would make sense is if you bought another game right along with it, then you could use the $10 gift card on something else, but then again you never really saved those $10 to begin with, good ol'e bait and switch :lol:

CC sucks.

Of course it does, its why I go to Best Buy, or just order online.

EA store (digital download) will unlock it on the 14th, retail is officially sold on the 16th but many stores will put it out for sale on the 15th. As always there are some people that got it early because store workers didn't mind to sell some copies before the official dates but in general the official world-wide release date is the 16th.

None of my local CCs, BBs or Walmarts have the game in yet. Gamestop said that they haven't gotten their shipment of new games today so I gotta call back around 12:30 to check. Doubt I will get my copy until tomorrow.

CC doesn't even know when they will get their copies! They are saying Friday at the earliest. :(
