I was chugging along at medium settings 1280x768 with an average of 25-26 fps. When the final cutscene played it dropped below 10. Any idea what's going on there? When I get the game what's the option that needs to be dropped?

It seems to do it at random to me too. Sometimes it's fine, something it's chugging. Seems pretty hit or miss with any driver to me.

The demo. :p

The scene with the frozen ship.

It ran like pure ass on my system too.

Same here. :(

About it running slow, not being paranoid.

odd the end scene ran smooth as butter on my 2900xt, must be a nvidia driver prob

I'd say so. Running in DX9 it was fine. Hope any issues like that are ironed out before release.

ran like crap for me the first time i played it. Then i updated to the 169.04 drivers and the next time i played it was fine.

To me it's just random. I've played the demo probably more than anyone else and on the same setting sometimes it's smooth and sometimes it's not. Could be a driver issue but sounds more like a game optimization issue.

Just as long as it's fixable. :)

I have the same problem too and the new drivers you guys are talking about didn't fix it.
