Strange poroblem...

Ok, i got the module loaded, and all of the sounds in Gnome are up and running(unfortunatly? ;-P)

But, when i try to throw an mp3 in xmms, it does nothing at all... no errors, nothing is displayed, it just does nothing...

Any ideas there?

yes, very strange "poroblem" indeed.

try reinstalling/compiling xmms.

RH8.0/9.0 Didnt ship XMMS with an mp3 decoder...

no errors, nothing is displayed, it just does nothing...
errors are generated. You might want to look at the playlist when ever you load an mp3, but since you installed the decoder, there's no point.
