Im gonna pick up my copy but i cant decide whether to get the special edition which costs more but has the art book, extra DVD and the game's soundtrack. To those of you who has the special edition (I know a lot of you do :D) is the special edition really worth the extra cash? If not i'll probably just go for the standard.
Yeah, the special edition is worth it, especially if you're in Singapore. In Hong Kong the regular version is about US$35, the special editon is around US$40 with free T-shirt + a diary note book. There are two special edtions actually, one is the Taiwan English+Chinese vesion with Chinese manual, and the Asia Pacific English version. The Taiwan version looks cooler because it has a slim metal case instead of the grey plastic case.

Im not sure about the price of the standard edition here, but my guess is S$59.90 at lowest. The special edition is S$15 more, and no there is no tshirt included.

I preordered the standard edition back when it was only $40. It'd cost me another $20 to get the CE now.

For me it was worth it. The Soundtrack CD is awesome, been listening to it going to sleep. :)

t-shirt and the note book are given out on first come first served basis, depending on the store. 59.9 SGD is about 42 USD, so 52 USD for sepecial edition, not bad.

I collect PC games, though I only go with the Limited\Special editions of a few games. Some time I'll have to take pics of my collection. :lol:

I get Special Editions for the making ofs mostly. I haven't watched the Crysis ones yet, but there have been some good ones. Like FEAR, Quake 4, Sam and Max, Halo series. I have to say the Bioshock making of has been the worst one yet.

Dude, can you give me the links where I can get the collectors edition tin for those prices? I think Crysis is a game that deserves a collectors tin.

it told me i had one day and so many hours before i could unlock so put my pc date to the 16th and now i can unlock the soundtrack and bonus disc
will only try the game when i have the 8800gt damn long wait

And i didnt get the in-game APC vehicle unlock thing? But i thought that was only a pre-order special? All i know is i dont have any paper/thing which tells me i can unlock a multiplayer vehicle. Am i screwed? And i wasnt issued a receipt damnit.

Oh i didnt, phew for a moment i thought the fag who packed the stuff in the box didnt include the vehicle hehe. Then why the hell must they put unique multiplayer vehicle at the back of the box?
And i also got a discount voucher for any 8600 and 8800 Gigabyte GPUs. Good thing too becase im gonna ask for a 8800GT this xmas. :D

You don't need to pre-order to get it. It's packed with the game. There should be a paper/card with the unlock code inside the box.
