This isn't really meant to be a discussion, just more of a warning. I've been using Sytem Mechanic since v4 and while not a perfect program, I could usually get it for less than $20 and it did a pretty good job.
I was using Vista 32-bit with SM7 w/o any problems, so I was supprised when I finally decided to go with 64-bit Vista that SM7 would not even install. A Google search showed that others had experienced problems with 64-bit Vista as well.
iolo's web site shows that SM7 is compatible with Vista, but does not specify 32-bit AND 64-bit. Anyway if you're running 64-bit Vista and your looking for a system utility you need to pass on SM7
