Unable to startX cuz of display settings after installing redhat linux 8.0

Hi All !
I have an Asus v7100 Magic (GeForce 2 MX200 Chipset) based card. Im not able to start XWindows even after specifying a description of the card and VRAM using XF86Config. So Im just stuck to the plain text interface. I need to get it runnin asap. HELP !!! Pleeeez

Umm... have you installed the drivers?

What settings are you talking about here? What did you change in the file? The nVidia drivers completely ignore the VideoRam option, so if you're setting that, it's doing no good.

Additionally, what error is X giving you when you try to start it? Attach the log file -- /var/log/XFree86.0.log -- from right after you do a startx.
