Is the 64-bit .exe working on the full version of the game? I'm using the latest 169.09 drivers and I keep getting the black screen :|

Works for me. I find it smoother than the 32 bit version. Best combo I've found is Tweaked DX9 64Bit.

I just installed the 169.04 drivers again and it still goes to a black screen. They worked for the demo :thumbdwn: Not sure what else could be borking it.

It works here, but i get lower performance with the 64bit exe anyway so i wouldnt worry about it.

Works fine here with the 169.09 drivers.

I'm still using the WQHL driver in Nvidia's site. Is the 169.09 much better for Crysis?

Are there no shortcuts on the desktop?
You are supposed to load Crysis.exe in the 64 bit folder
I use the classic Start menu so I made my own shortcuts to it.

Actually when you install it in a 64-bit OS the game should start in 64bit by its own when you click on the Crysis icon in the games explorer.

I don't have that. I am using the classic start menu. Maybe he is too.

In that case you need to click on Start->Programs->Games->Games Explorer->Crysis

I didn't even spot that in there.
All I saw was the regular stuff like Solitare.
Haha.

Just wondering if you're using AVG antivirus, I had that problem until I uninstalled both AVG and Crysis, and then reinstalled Crysis

It's smoother than 32bit. I'm runnin 64bit DX9 Crysis and I get a much improved increase of FPS.

When I load up a couple different saved games, I get 5fps less in 64-bit than in 32-bit :( Are there different settings that 64-bit is enabling since it's "supposed" to run faster that's actually slowing it down? lol

Texture streaming is disabled in 64-bit but I don't know if there is anything else. My tests with the demo were to some degree inconsistent, some runs were slower than 32bit, then I rebooted or messed with the driver settings (display mode, vsync, optimizations) and all out of sudden it was just as fast as 32-bit. I ran a total of 16 runs and half of them were just as fast as 32bit and half of them were slower, just like you reported.
