Has anyone been able to kill the Trigen that wears the nanosuit? I keep trying but it just won't let me! Do I have to shoot him with a mother****ing freeze ray?

Don't kill him! It's just Alvin wearing a trigen suit. Killing him will totally **** that quest!

Finally starting to have issues with Crysis.

About a week ago I could no longer load the game, I'd always get an error message. So I unistalled it. Well, last night I just re-installed it, and started playing it again. When I encountered this odd graphical bug: all the North Koreans have some wierd orb covering the top half of their bodies... you can't see their shoulders, neck, head, or even torso really. Just this weird, orangish-yellowish-reddish-whitish ball/orb type thing. I'll try and get a screen grab of what I mean so you know what I'm talking about.

Just curious though- is there any known fix for this?

I've tried different graphics settings (in-game and in the driver control panel), I've tried DX9 and then DX10, and I even tried installing the patch- nothing has solved this problem. Any ideas?

i have no idea, never seen that before. when you reinstalled, did you remove all custom cfg files?

I've never modified any cfg files... ever. I even tried starting a new game to see if that'd resolve it... nope. Guess I'll just uninstall and then re-install it once more.

Make sure you delete everything the uninstall leaves behind before re-installing.

169.25- I'm gonna' try what Grey_1 recommended. I didn't remove any files left behind from the previous install... maybe that is what has it borked.

That'll work for my 8800GTSs? Hmm... so far Crysis is working fine now. Running just a hair slower than I prefer, so I'm gonna' drop AA down to 2x. Might give this driver a go later though...

My rig may kick the living sh!t out of yours when it comes to raw GPU power... but yours straight dominates mine when it comes to the CPU- |ee+ my @$$! :lol: Thanks for the compliment though. ;) Currently saving pennies to get my next rig up and running.
