Hi Andy, and everyone else

I recently bought a Samsung SyncMaster 191T with both DVI & VGA

Im using a Creative 3D Blaster Geforce4 ti4400

And i am able to use DVI as per X
But at boot time ( bios ) i cant see anything with DVI
Nor can i use DVI in console, i got Kernel Vesa FB enabled

But i can start X with the ConnectedMonitor string
but when i do, i can't fallback to console it tries to enabled VGA, but it fails but i am able to execute commands ( ie xinit ) so i can start X back up and use DVI, but once ive started X i can't go back to console without a reboot

Every tips & tricks and workarounds are welcome

Andy, tell me if you need more information from me and my computer.

Sincerly Stefan.

Update: problem solved , one month ago i resetted my bios, and though my Initialize display on ( AGP , PCI , AUTO ) was set to AGP
but now i checked again and it was set to auto, so i switched to AGP heh , sometimes you just fool yourself thinking its a bigger problem, sorry if i caused any trouble for anyone :)
