use island.tod file ,you can make every map in retail version crysis looks same as old offilcial video"jungle fight",there are many beautiful light beams and fog particles in them,and they can not be finded in retail version!(lee63)
obviously,you can do this only through sandbox2.:cool:

you can edit tod file in sandbox/terrian/time of day,and will get much more amazing graphic than this.

Go to the "....\Crysis\Game\Levels\" folder and rename the "island" folder to "island_crytek", and then copy the folder (island) from the rar-file into the "Levels" folder. Start the game, select "New Game" and the custom level loads. Don't worry about losing savegames, ain't gonna happen.

Its not possible atm. The settings wont stuck for some reason. The map however is playable with the game, but then u aint gonna get the nice lighting.

Yes but then he wont get the light or the time of day right. It wont stuck even if you save it so in the editor.

Makes it alot prettier. But you need to change the time of day to 8.30 in the morning and then the EyeAdaption clamp to 2 :captnkill:

I don't like it. The HDR makes it all faded out and bloomy. Not real at all. That mist or haze in the air is cool but too thick. Below a rainforest canopy is much darker in real life.

Those are just tropical rainforests. The are other kinds of rainforest...

How do I install the sandbox editor? Do I install it with the installation files or is it like the demo wheres the installation is within the game directory?

These settings look bad outside a jungle. If you have a level with only jungle and no free spaces then this would work.

The VTOLs and aliens are not very lifelike either, not like the one's I've seen anyway.

The main point is the game isn't set in a rainforest. It's set in a jungle.

You should still have a Sandbox2.msi file in one of the folders. :)
