Hia, is there a hdmi cable available for the original (white) xbox 360??

I dont want to go out and buy the elite as my current 360 is fine and i have a spare hdmi connection on my tv and i want the component connection for my wii.

Dont want to use vga as it looks odd now and component doesnt support 1080p on my tv and im guessing hdmi would...for the hddvd player.

Any help would be good.

Thanks

The original Xbox360 only outputs an analog signal. AFAIK there is no HDMI cable available for it. If you want HDMI outputs the Elite or the newer Arcade SKUs should fit the bill.

There is a 360 HDMI cable out there. It's slimmer so that you can use the additional optical out module.

$44 at Amazon

The only question is when you say original..do you mean pre-hdmi port 360? If so then this won't work.

I'm pretty sure he is talking about the original Xbox360 model (pre-HDMI).

Older xbox 360's, like mine, don't have the smaller hdmi port located in the picture below the regular video/sound connector port. The regular port as we know, does not support hdmi.
