I was thinking of buying a Radeon HD 3850. But was curious to know if my current PSU would handle the card. I have Raidmax 380w PSU.

You need to upgrade that psu badly then. I would go for one with a stout single 12v rail with at least 30+amps.
Personally I would go with this one-

Pcpowercooling make the best PSU's on the market and for the $$$ this is a steal.
2nd Choice would be this-

You cant go wrong with either one as they both have very stout single 12v rails.

I can vouch for the Silverstone OP650 watt it is a great power supply and with 54amps on the 12v rail will handle that card and others if you upgrade later .I would go with the 3870 512mb for $219 if you can find one ,but the 3850 512mb is not a bad card at all.But i would get one with 512mb verus 256mb because in newer games that extra 256mb of memory will come in handy, like games like Crysis.
