Specs in sig. Could it be my overclocking unstable for Crysis?

I have the latest beta driver, 169.12 drivers I think, and Crysis just crashes back to desktop. Anyone get the same thing?

I keep going into the first part of the game. :headexplode:

I also have a saved games/profile in a folder and they were played. And now they're not in the game anymore. So I started new profile cuz my system did not shut off properly. But this time and lately, Crysis just freezes and crash back to desktop. It's my first time playing too.

Anyone?

Your OC doesn't seem to be all that high. Have you tried with both DX10 and DX9?

No... But it's the stupid driver (nvlddmkm?) that stops responding in the background when the game runs.

It's really annoying!! :(

I've had that before... maybe from OCd RAM, OCd GPU, or driver coflicts... do you have any of those?

Everything in my spec is overclocked, but now they're back to stock. And I never OC my GPU. And drivers conflict? How do I know if I have a driver conflict?

In my device manager, there's only one unknown device, which is only Creative Game Port, it won't install on its own, but it has nothing to do with anything, right?

I just meant a bad install of the new drivers... probably not the problem, just a possibility.

For what its worth, my E4400 is o/c from 2 ghz to 3 ghz! and not such problem, stock GTX ;)

Googling doesn't give me straight and fast answer.

But after Windows update, and etc... The game was running better.

I had the settings in Very High, but down to High, so it's a little better. But I sometimes lose sound in game, makes me restart the game. Any ideas why? Or it's a bug?

Had this problem with my x2 4200 OC. Went away when I stopped OC'in. But the E6600 should be much better.

I OC my 8800GTS for Crysis. Makes a huge difference.
