Take a look at these pics:

Medium looks better, more crisp and colorful. Motion Blur looks better on high though.

Well on High Shaders... its supposed to give a haze look... makes it seem hot and humid :)

Turn off color grading, thats whats making your medium look more crisp than high. :p

How do you do that?

Nope...it's just you.

Depends on what you want I guess....with high shaders it looks more like real life with the haze....that's what real life looks like. It's not just clear as far as the eye can see. I know I find high shaders WAY more realistic than medium.

color grading is my favorite graphical effect in crysis, it gives a realistic look on the environment.

On the first pair of pics I can see your point. The second comparison, to me, favors the High setting by far.

high shaders = hdr

hdr = more natural

I was like you until I saw nighttime and some day time differences between HDR and non HDR. HDR is better but its not as vivid for sure. That motion blur looks ugly on medium too.

High shaders looks hellofalot better to me ;)

Both on the screenshots, but not least cause of the HDR..

Yeah i kinda like it too, but some people think the color looks richer without it.

Oh it can be disabled with r_colorgrading 0

It's you. High looks waaaay better. The contrast isn't overblown, the shadows are not as dark and the blur is actually a blur.
