:(
Seriously this is worse than cold turkey
AARRRRGGGGG!!!!! FFFNNNNRRRRGGHHHHH

Then I read something like this...
http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/246252-15-8800gt-restock-date
"hi!
i just got my 8800gt a day back.here in bombay, where i stay ,the shops have a healthy stock of 8800gt cards -from these brands:xfx, galaxy, gigabyte & asus."

Damn you outsourcing for making people in India wealthy enough to afford decent hardware.

This is not good for my mental health and Ive gotten fat again.

For now I will use the G92 GTS as my desktop background, If my 7300LE can handle it.

I need to go into stasis for a month

8800GTX=DX9 Hardware because DX10=Vista and Vista=POS+too many $$$ so it will not be installed on my rig.

So, I too shall hold to my DX9 hardware. :captnkill:

8800GTX = Underpowered for dx10 so should really be considered the pinnacle of dx9 cards.

other than crysis, it does run everything else well in the dx10 realm

The 8800GTX is no way underpowered, you just to have a very good system to get the best of it, running it on a single or dual core will not allow this card to run at its full speed

I can tell you I have a 8800GTX, Quad Core 2.66 and I never get frames dropping below 40 in crysis with a mix of high & very high settings.

All other games it flys through with no problems

That may be true in regards to a single core but not a Core 2 Duo, much less an overclocked one. Any core 2 duo at 3.2+ghz will run a 8800GTX about as well as you could ever expect it to run.

At what resolution? 800X600?

What are your setting in Cysis what is on high and what is on very high and what resolution do you use to never drop below 40FPS.

I count today as the period of time that ends when I fall asleep instead of the more conventional earth going around the sun version, NOT YET.

I haven't slept since 2 days, or 1 of mine

When It comes you can say xxxx off and play some games instead of whining on here

I ordered 23 hours ago ,its due in 9-10 hours.

considering taking the day off sick

Im not selling the GT till the g92 GTS is in my hands!!!!!!

First thing I did was run a fear bench (@stock) and its below my OC'd GTS, I'll soon mend that.

This thread dies now ,The suffering is over.

I feel your pain, XDanger. I've been completely G80-less for almost 2 months now and it's starting to effect me. :retard:
