View Full Version : Just passed Crysis!!!! It was AWESOME!!!!

Even with my old aging rig I had a blast playing this game all the way through in two days. Wow was it awesome. Sure I got a couple of loading pauses here and there and some lag sometimes but it still was very playable when it needed to be, i.e. combat. In fact I am very impressed with how flexible Cryek made the Cryengine 2. I play the game at the following settings;

Res.=800x600
AA=Off
textures=Low
Model Detail=Low
Shadows=Medium
Physics=Medium
Shaders=Medium
Volumetric Effects=Medium
Game Effects=Low
Post Processing Effects=Medium
Particle Effects=Low
Water=Medium
Sound=High

....And man it was pretty even at these settings. Thanks for making an awesome game Crytek. Someday I will get myself a new PC that will be able to play this game at very high settings with smooth frames per second.

I'm used to hearing the phrase "I just passed a gall stone", as in passing something through your digestive system. So I immediately pictured someone eating Crysis and ****ting it out. :(

Oh noes, low-medium settings, there is no point to play Crysis if you can't even play it in high setting, because the main feature of this game is it's graphics.

If you dont have the good GPU/CPU , Crysis will still serve you well at med-low settings :cool:
not all people can afford the money to play it at high right now.
