Big problem!

I went from .09 to .12

And .12's didnt work. After i uninstalled .09, rebooted, ran driver cleaner, then installed .12...all i got was this:

RunDLL

Error Loading c:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll

c:\windows\system32\nvcpl.dll is not a valid win32 application

WTF! Help!

I even uninstalled .12 and reinstalled .09 and im still getting it!

This is pretty urgent. any ideas?

I just uninstalled again, rebooted into safe mode, deleted the nvidia folder, ran sweeper and cleaner, rebooted, installed .09 again, and i still get the error.

Its a control panel error right?

This file is nvcpl.dll is corrupt. I google the file name.

If system restore does not work theres always good ole reinstall vista,If you do not think its related to your video card.

Alright. Update:

Did all the proper cleaning and uninstallation of drivers...

Dl'd the 163 drivers and installed them. Im not getting that error anymore, but whenever i click the cp it just quickly flashes a command prompt window and thats it.

Are you talking about the CP that is start-> control panel or nvidia's cp?
