Does anyone know anything about this university? I live in Dubai, United Arab Emirates and I am in 11th grade. I look the PSAT last October. I recently got a mail from this university saying that I can join them.

This is a good university? How does it rank?

So for all your rhetoric, you're going to an American university?

Secondly, I AM NOT ANTI-AMERICAN. It may look like it, but I am not. I don't have a problem with the country, I have a problem with their government and their foreign policies.

I have an uncle living in New York for more than 20 years, another uncle living in LA for more than 10 years, another uncle living in Miami, an aunt living in Washington for more than 30 years and working as a doctor. Plus, she is FILTHY rich too! She lost $3,000,000 on the stock exchange and didn't even care! She lives in the area where government officals live and I visited her last summer. She showed me Collin Powel's house as she lives 2 mins (drive) away from him. Currently, I go to this school:

Stupid question...

You like a country thats defined by the government you hate?

Our system of government is what makes the United States unique. How can you say in one breath that you don't hate this country, then turn right around and say you hate what puts the United in United States?

Great, your Aunt is mega rich and you have family in the US. I have an uncle who lives in Saudi Arabia. Doesn't mean a thing.

Even more evidence of your lack of knowledge about the American system of government. American citizens don't live under a dictatorship. That means our government is bigger then one man. In fact, its hundreds of thousands of elected men and women all over the country, from the local municipalities to our federal government, encompasing all walks of life. Not just *ahem* royal families *cough*.

One man doesn't make the system, 600 million Americans do. So no, just because you dislike President Bush doesn't mean you hate America. It means you dislike a man...1 man in a system of thousands.

On the other hand, by hating an entire government system, like you profess to do, you are hating the thing that makes the United States the United States. Government by the people, because every citizen over the age of 18, regardless of whether they voted or not created that iteration of government.

For me, Bush = the government as he decides what happens, when it happens, and why it happens.

he is limited in what he can do and how much...

congress/senate are his checks and balances and if they do not like something they will oppose it...

case in point... reduction of the tax cut to a smaller level...

Then stick to dictatorships, because thats where you belong.

Next time you go to your American school, ask your teachers about American government. They will teach you about "Checks and Balances" and Congress and the Supreme Court.
