Xp and vista dual booting question

I have xp professional full install and vista ultimate upgrade. How can I dual boot xp and vista when vista is an upgrade? Do i just install xp pro twice, on two different partitions, and then upgrade one of them? Thanks for your help.

Just boot into your XP, then run the Vista DVD. When asked whether to upgrade or clean install, choose clean install, then pick a different hard drive or partition.
