Patch probably got delayed ?

Anyways, did someone install these drivers ? Better, worse than 169.12 ?

No difference in performance in any game, Crysis still runs like ass, there is a new edition though, tested on 3 different systems running an 8800GTX SLI setup, 8800 Ultra and a new 8800GT, all saw a nice graphical corruption in Crysis with water reflections, they seem to flash on and off when you spin around. Really noticeable in the frst level of the game. Does not occur in DX10 mode though, only occurs in DX9.

These drivers gave me a real nice performance boost in Crysis. From 25 fps to 45 fps in heavy vegetation. My min fps is around 22 to 25 fps now and maxes out up to 115 fps. Game settings is DX10 everything set to very high except motion blur is set on medium and AA off. 1680 X 1050 res.

Crysis improved for me, I can now leave everything on high except textures and it runs smoother now in multi than before. Why would you be running GTX SLI in Vista and NOT be using DX10?

Because Crysis in DX10 is slide show??? Have you played Crysis yet on DX10 at anything over 1024x768? I don't really like 15FPS. And it looks terrible when played at 1024x768 on a 24" LCD.

Ya I've been playing it at medium settings in DX10 mode @ 1600x1200 and it's pretty smooth. Finished the game without any major slowdowns anywhere, multiplayer chugs a little more on certain maps however. Does DX9 mode really run better?

So NVIDIA are saying it improves framerates explicitly when you run these drivers after the patch is released and you are moaning that it hasn't improved things.. when you don't have the patch yet.

Superb.

Doesn't make any sense you dont have the game patch. 115 fps in DX10 haha yea, ok. :p

I am just bitter as I may as well not even play the damn thing with my spec - so I don't.

I have a another system fx57 and 2 7800 gtx. It ran all my game great until I put Vista on it. Games like Dirt, Crysis, COD4 and some others runs like crap now. Dirt runs at 10 to 12 fps at 640 X 480 and the same fps at 1680 X 1050. Does not make no since. Windows xp runs these games great on this system. The 7800 gtx's just won't run good in Vista. It really sucks.

Hellgate londen dx10 is unplayable with these new drivers. Immediate crash windows has stopped working and the driver has stopped working and windows has recovered errors.

Went back to 169.12

These still aren't on the US servers which is pretty weird. I think I'll wait 'till I can find them at their usual spot

I lied. My FPS goes up 145fps at times with my setup.
