Hi all,

Came across some new drivers today, think they might hit nvidia.com soon but for now, please feel free to download them from links below, thank to Electronic Punk yet again for helping us all out with testing these before official release!

-----International Beta
-----Driver Date - 27/11/07
-----Driver Release Date - 06/12/07
-----Supports most Geforce 5, 6, 7 & 8 cards

Windows XP 32bit (http://www.electronicpunk.com/forceware/169.17_forceware_winxp_32bit_international_beta.ex e) and Windows XP 64bit (http://www.electronicpunk.com/forceware/169.17_forceware_winxp64_international_beta.exe)

69 megs! Thems hefty drivers, I'll post feedback when I get a chance, though much probably isn't changed in these.

It is your download manager. Try disabling it.

I'm playing Crysis right now, is it safe to install the new drivers before the patch comes out ?

Crysis is about 1fps slower (max, min, average) in the GPU benchmark with these drivers, no stability issues though.
btw, I just finished it. :D

Played Timeshift for about an hour and a half last night - ran great.

Yea, so now Crysis runs at 14 FPS? lol.

Point of the post was to report that there is no performance increase in Crysis with these drivers, nor stability issues by having them installed without the patch in XP.
