Can fan on GeForce2 GTS be turned off with APM?

is there a way to turn off the fan on an Nvidia GeForce 2 GTS card after the monitor gets turned off via apm?

Not that I know of. Why do you want to switch the fan off? They don't use that much power or make much noise.

There simply are some things that should not be turned off.

If you run your card at full speed and then the monitor gets supended and the fan of the vga-card gets turn off also: the heat is still in the card you know

Anyway, if the monitor get suspended, does the videocard gets suspended as well

The fan of your videocard will allways run. There's no way to disable it. Disabling would also be very dangerous since the GPU becomes very hot.
