Can i run 2 Different makes of 7900GTX cards in Sli?

Hi Everybody,

This is my first post so be gentle with me.

I have never run to cards in sli before and was hoping someone can answer this question for me.

I have a Leadtek PX7900GTX TDH graphics card and a mate of mine has offered me he's old Point Of View 7900GTX for peanuts, but im not sure if you can run to different make of card in Sli?

I have looked up the spec of both cards and they are the same as far as i can see.

Please help me.

You shouldn't have a problem with the newest motherboard and gpu drivers. supposedly, the later ones offer SLI capabilities of 2 identical cards regardless of their make (i.e. leadtek, EVGA, BFG, etc.)
