I want to attach a accelero s1 passive heatsink to my 8800gt, but i hear that the ram sinks it comes with has tape on it that barely sticks. I'm wondering where I would go to purchase double sided thermal tape. I have no idea where to look. Thanks for your help.

Oh, I would have thought there would be a load of results. In a previous thread Atojar recommended 'Sekisui double-sided Thermal tape'. I did a search on Google UK and got a few results. Maybe if you search for a specific brand you'll have more luck.

Perhaps. Google offers so many different results depending on the words you search for. Maybe I didnt put one word in the search which could have thrown off everything,

Would this be what I need for the ram sinks?

Not 100% sure on this but I don't think they're the same as the pads used for RAMsinks. I don't think they're sticky either.

Kinda sucks that the tape is only like $3 and the shipping costs like $7. They could pretty much put it in an envelope and mail it for 41 cents. Jeez shipping charges suck!

Thats wierd, it costs $3 to ship it to canada, yet they're located in florida?

What a rip. Im tired of shipping charges. I sell quite a bit through ebay and I ship packages all the time and the most I pay is like $4. Even for a bigger sized package. This maybe weighs an ounce and could easily be shipped for $3 probably alot less.

How does this look? Its about half the price as the other one I posted. Has anyone ever used this stuff before? Im not sure if its any good.
