Spreading it Thin TIM Roundup 2007 (http://www.madshrimps.be/?action=getarticle&number=5&artpage=3071&articID=635)

Unless those charts were reversed by mistake, results seem to favor non-spreading by an average load temp of 5C. I usually favored the spreading technique, too lazy right now to dismount the Ultra-120X and reapply paste. :D

Interesting... I did the thin line on my cpu this time and it's working pretty well. (AS5)

All I've ever done is just placed a little drop near the center, and then let the the pressure and wieght of the heatsink/fan do the rest.
