View Full Version : Michael Vick Letter: Pathetic
Atlanta might still take him
I doubt they will have their crap together by then.
Especially since the coach resigned...
Yeah, another Falcons coach left... big surprise there, eh?
Blank won't take him back and I'm glad that coach resigned. Petrino sucks. He doesn't have the character to be an NFL coach. He tried to rule the roost like he did in college, with kids. He couldn't handle dealing with grown men, hence his impersonal resignation and late night departure. He is as big of a chicken **** as it gets. He left LSU for the money even though he had committed himself to them prior to going to the Falcons. He committed himself to the Falcons the night before his departure to Arkansas. He is mediocre at best, as you see LSU has a better record this year than they ever did under Petrino.

Yeah this has been Atlanta's worst season in a very VERY long time.
I'm sure it was more than just the coach, but he most likely wasn't helping matters any.
Its hard to really expect much from them any more though. They are pretty inconsistent. They have never had back to back winning seasons.
They are just playing for draft position now Cap.

Yeah I know that.
I'll be very surprised if they have a winning season in the next year or two though.

They need quite a bit of rebuilding. Beyond needing a competent coach, they need to draft lineman like it's going out of style and find a franchise worthy QB. Redman has potential, but I have a feeling they rather draft someone.
pathetic?
tbh, actually seems pretty heartfelt to me.

Yeah Redman definitely has potential.
I hope they give him a shot because he's capable of making nice plays... its just that consistency thing that's holding him back. :p
I think a lot of that has to do with the offensive line sucking horribly.
Aren't most of their first string players injured anyway?

I can't blame him much for not being on his A game. He was selling insurance last year. A lot of the line starters are injured. I was glad to see more Norwood in play yesterday though. That guy has a TON of talent. I think they should line him and Dunn up at the same time more often.

Yeah Norwood is awesome.
Sadly, I just have standard cable so I rarely get to see the Falcons play.
I don't really follow it real closely but they've been my brother's team forever, and I usually watch a game if he's watching it.
Thinking back on the last few years, its just so sad that they lost Vick. He had his ups and downs but there is just so much potential there and he's just so damned awesome to watch when it all comes together.
