hay guys i wanted 2 knw wht graphics card can be used for this model of hp pc's ...it is dual core..160 GB...there is no graphics card...are the 8 series graphics card compatible for this pc's plz lemme knw...because the guy who delivered me this pc told only 128mb graphcis cards are compatible fer this model...so plz lemme knw...128mb graphics card em screwd:( any1 wid info regarding this plz lemme knw soon...thnxs a lot

It doesn't look like it has any PCI-Express 8x\16x slots.

You're going to be extremely limited on graphics cards because of this.

You could get something better than the GMA950 that you have, but it wouldn't really be worth the money or time unless you're playing older games.

What games do you want to play? And do you know the rest of the specifications for the computer? For example, type of CPU and amount of RAM.

The specs on hp site doesn't say it have a pci express 16x slot, but the picture on the data sheet for the motherboard show a 16x pci express slot?
(Crack open the case and see if it have a long pci express slot, it will be the very first one on top) If it does you can use a 8 series card, the only thing I would worry about is your PSU now.

I see that it has a PCIE 1x slot listed on the specs, no mention of a 16x slot there.

Even if it did have a PCIE 16x slot you may need a bigger case to fit a 8800 series card in there and definately a stronger PSU.
