for the CHEAPEST prices check out http://www.pricewatch.com

they are advertising a GF4MX for $39us, but be warned the MX series stink. You're better off looking for a cheap TI card, but if don't have an AGP slot than that wont be possible. For PCI, the best card available is a Visiontek R9100. Check out this comparison of a GF4MX PCI to R9100 PCI

the mx420 is the fastest pci out now and its so slow youll be disapointed. even the mx400 eats it. also the agp verson is 50% faster. I own both so I speak from experience. Get a new mobo and a good agp card

no, there's a mx440 pci, a radeon9000 pci, and radeon9100 pci... and coming up real soon, fx5200... Seriously...

I don't remember where it was, but I saw an honest 3dmark2k1 score with the 9100 pci 7500 onions... not bad for a pci card... ands yes, I'm taking into acct. that most pci gfx card owners have 733-1.4 celly's, but STILL... :):D:)
