I have a few questions regarding the Quadro line of graphics cards. Maybe some of you can help me here.

1. Do Quadros suffer from the same scaling issues that the Geforces do? Keeping aspect ratio on 4:3 programs while using a 16:10 monitor is important to me.

2. Is there any obvious way to tell which cards use which GPUs to tell what you are buying? I know they all basically use Geforce GPUs, but it almost seems like Nvidia wants to downplay that. I'm sure average-joe would mistake the same GPU for "the same product" and not want to pay so I guess I can appreciate that.

3. Do any Quadro resellers pre-install Zalman cooling units OR offer a modder friendly warrenty?

4. Who exactly are Nvidia's Quadro resellers outside of ... PNY.

2. Not that Im aware of, other then if you find out the GPU name, for example G80GL is the Quadro version of the GF 8800 series (G80).
Found this list here, might be handy:

Wow that sucks. I can find the CARD I want. I just can't get things like a real warrenty, a full array of solid state capacitors, or a Zalman. This is such an unfair trade off. I can get a Geforce with solid stat capacitors and a quality zalman cooler but driver issues forever... or I can get a Quadro FX which runs 4:3 content properly but live with a 3-month cooler and a relative lack of solid state capacitors. Aren't these Quadros supposed to be professional workstation cards? My goodness if I ran a business that was tricked into thinking these cards were anything more than a gimmick, there would be a law suit... Outside of driver issues, the XFX Geforce 8600GT is a more reliable card and at almost half the price of the Quadro equivalent.
