169.25 won't let me quit SLI mode...help!

I want to disable SLI and it won't let me!!! It acts like it's going to, but then it just goes back to "Enable SLI". Any ideas?

Well first off; Why do you want to disable sli, and how are you going about disabling it?

I want to disable SLI because I have 2 screens on my desk. When I'm working, I work in dual-view. When I'm playing games I run on a single monitor in SLI mode. So I go back and forth between the two.

I found out the problem with 169.25. When switching between the two modes it pops up the window "your desktop settings have changed, do you want to keep them" for only a couple of quick seconds. If you're not quick enough to click "yes" before it disappears it goes back to the previous setting. This is pretty annoying.
