AMD Phenom B3 CPUs to be delayed to Q2 2008

The reason AMD decided to delayed B3 revision CPUs further into Q2 2008 is that they been unable to fix TLB bug on B3 revision on time for Q1 2008. This also affect all CPUs included triple core CPUs, look like they will launch B3 by June 2008, god help AMD if they still cant fix the bug and delay it further more into Q3 2008.

This news will damage AMD far more than they predicted 2008 outlook back to AMD financial analyst day meeting, with the further delay, AMD could never make a profit in Q3 2008 and also will face another impairment charge in Q4 2008 if AMD still survive and not takeover by another company.

If you are looking for a bang for the buck upgrade now that will last, just buy a Q6600 G-0, a solid P35 motherboard and a 8800GT 512Mb.

The Q6600 will do 3.0GHz on stock volts all day and all night with the cooler it ships with.

Indeed, its taken Intel a good 4 or 5 years to react properly to AMD being quite strong. Now they have and very well, and AMD has fallen away.
