How old are you Dirthead?
Accorded to your PC it will take 35370 days and 14 hours to complete, it translate to complete in 97 years time on 19 June 2014 at 2pm GMT. You probably will be healthy 120 to 150 years old man. Dont worry about that cos old people live much longer past 100 years of age, in 22nd Century, people could last as long as 200 years. ;)

I would get that when I would just move files across HDD's. Look for an update, or to save time installing updates, get the SP1 RC.

NEVER COMPRESS C DRIVE!!
this will make your computer slow as hell!! Do you even know how compression works?
Lets say you want to read file A, before you can read file A, it has to be uncompressed, then it can be read, if you want to save it back, it has to compressed and then saved.
MS disabled compression in Disk Cleanup for a reason, people were using it, and then complaining why their computers is slower every day.
NEVER COMPRESS YOUR DRIVE!!
NEVER COMPRESS YOUR DRIVE!!

I understand that. I didn't realize he was compressing. I saw the pic and from my experience, file transfers, etc. in vista that have taken forever take no time in XP. I am not trying to crap on it..
But as you said, never compress.
