Yeah so I installed Vista onto the machine below, with Vista sound card drivers for my Audigy 2ZS. I also ran the speaker settings thing in the control panel, but for some reason two of the satellite speakers don't work and the volumes are messed up. Is this a common problem? I seem to remember having some good software to fix this stuff by creative on the CD, but Ive lost the cd.

I'm almost ready to get a new card. 5.1 is completely broken for the Audigy 2 ZS under XP 64-bit and Vista 64-bit. I can't get 5.1 sound to work properly no matter what I try.

Unfortunately the only real option is an X-Fi, and I refuse to support Creative for leaving their customers out in the cold like this.

Have you setup your speakers in CP/Sound/ and clicked on the 'Configure' button?

EDIT: Sorry. Just read your post again. You've done it :o

Doesn't Vista Update find drivers for it? It's generally very good.

Eww, they're making me pay? Sack it, the sound isn't that bad I'll pick up a second hand X-Fi or something.

Thanks guys.
