I have Biostar M7VIP V1.0 MOBO and i want to know if i could a use a AMD Athlon XP 2500+ Barton on it?

1.1 supports up to 3000+
and 1.0 2600+, not sure if 2600+ is barton..

1.1 has a BIOS update to support Barton..
1.0 doesnt seem to have that...

current barton revisions are 2500+/2800+ and 3000+

afaik there will probably be a 2600+ coming out around the time the next bunch are listed...
