The ioDrive is the world’s fastest drive. Designed specifically for
bandwidth and applications that are I/O bound, the ioDrive is a no
compromise solution for the toughest computational challenges facing
the HPC community today. Putting the ioDrive in a league of it’s own.

• RAM like performance with disk
like capacity

• Add Terabytes of virtual memory
• Sustain 3.2 GBps bandwidth
with only four ioDrives

• Perform over 100,000 IOPS
(4K packets) with a single ioDrive

• Checkpoint a Terabyte in 10 seconds
on a 128 node cluster

• Increased performance, with no floor
space required at only 1/100 the power

sustained data rates of 700MB/sec (Read) and 600MB/sec (Write)

The ioDrive looks better than Mtron's on an Areca card

I believe Eve-Online started using something like these some time ago. Would be great to have one to mess around with :) Maybe DarthBeavus has one sitting around someplace Ha !

Hmm, tera-ramsan is extremely expensive >1000$ /GB compared to the iodrive 30$/GB
