I whatched the Final Flight of the Osiris, and didn´t like it .

I whatched the Final Flight of the Osiris, and didn´t like it . It was not a bit creative as the other animatrix episodes. The motion of the characters was slooow and unimpressive, specially in that dojo fight. I think the problem was with the direction. They could have hired a true anime director.

I haven't watched any of the animatrix yet, I'm waiting for the DVD ri...the DVD to come out. :)

they use pure CG for it... akin to the cg used in final fantasy... except better IMO... perhaps it doesn't allow for emotions to be
shown to the exagerated levels that you see in anime..


there is no doubt that CG does not capture true human emotions properly @ this time (unless you want to talk about Smeagol :D )

but the other 3 released are all hand-drawn style animations... very much different from final flight of the osiris...

and after watching final flight of the osiris you can see an immediate link to the final matrix reloaded preview (i.e. the sentinels above zion tunneling)...

personally I was highly impressed by final flight of the osiris.. :)

and the babe was kinda hot... I was hoping for coupla more strokes from the dudes sword :)

Only watched teh commercial but I agree with mod...it is kinda slow. Can CG not get fast motion or what? The moves don't seem very sharp.

The problem was that animatrix episote was horribly directed

they give a basic background as to what is happening/has happened in the world of the matrix...

final flight of the osiris... if seen on the big screen is a great visual work of art.. IMO...

I will concur that the story is a bit nutty... compared to the other episodes we have seen... most of it spent in the initial fight scene... which was ok coz the girl gets almost nekid :D

If they wanted a decent fight, they should have hired a martial arts specialist to help, like in the Matrix movie. It looked like an improved version of that stupid Action Man cartoon. I thought the idea of getting naked just a waste of time, it seemed that they wanted to show how good they are in redering. Come on, even my sister has a better looking body than her.
