Badass. I have Klipsch RF-3s with the matching surrounds, and I can't imagine how good the RF-7s must sound.

you really need to find a way to hide the wires...

thats always my biggest obstacle when it comes to putting together stuff..

that why most of my pc is wireless components...

HOw can you NOT have subwoofers...I mean, I'd rather get a sub first with stereo than that 2 surround channels. They'd look a lot nicer without the plastic cover too... Badass plasma though, that I can never afford.

Hey, the home theater is NOT "functional" yet as we don't have the amplifier yet!

By the way, the Klipsch RF-7s have VERY good bass of their own. They go down to 30Hz with POWER. But I will be getting the SVS PB2-Plus subwoofer sometime.

Oh really. You should've gotten the plasma, then the amp, then just the stereo. At least it's functional and you can always add on later.

It still wouldn't have been functional cuz I still need the preamp/processor and the DVD player. ;)

Jesus Christ that's a lot of stuff you need...I'd just use my computer speakers (Z560) plugged into my tv-out into a 40" TV with powerDVD.

Kain, I know it's a little late but you could have put all the cables and power cord in the wall behind the TV and run them in the wall down to the base board and connect them there. It make a much nicer look to go with that awesome set up. I would also build a black frame around the TV to hide the connectors at the bottom of the TV. I used to install satilite dishes and home entertainment systems and learned a lot from some really talented installationists.

BTW is that Philips DVD963SA a progressive scan player? My Toshiba is very nice in progrressive mode. Also if your TV has 1080i you will be in heaven. When I first saw 1080i programing I nearly messed my pants. It is one thing to see it at the store but when it's in your own home OMG I have to stop or I risk another episode. :p Any way bud nice set up and keep us updated when you get it completed.:)

I'll trade you my 13 year old 19" Zenith for that flat screen. Whoa nelly thats nice set up. Its a shame you can never jack up the sound in fear the plasma will fall off the wall though. Is there a part to in the warranty just pertaining to that?

I can even pull down, push left, push right, and doesn't even move! :)

By the way, we are moving house in June so there is no point currently to try to make it look "pretty." ;)

BTW is that Philips DVD963SA a progressive scan player? Oh yes! It features the latest de-interlacing chipset and has NO chroma bug, features NTSC AND PAL progressive scan, multi-channel SACD, and CD upsampling. It is one of the best DVD player you can buy right now. Check the AVS Forum. It's ALL over there. :)
