I am about to open som complainments...

I played today on this server.. and there was a haver with some kind of freezray, he killed me and others instantly, froze and popped, even cars and sh!t. He can even run fast as hell, and is invulnerable to any type of damage. God mode even called. I totally lacked on this guy... And then he gave links to the damn cheats. link removed :( PLEASE REPORT THIS SITE, MAKE IT GO AWAY. I DONT WANNA PLAY WITH DAMN HACKERS!

Dont be hard on me, this is actually really sad. Why is swearing so sensitive? What about cheating in crysis? You didnt even comment it, you didnt even mention one thing about it. As crysis is a game that is rated M 18+ and this is the crysis forums, then it should be ok? Snakes on a plane is rated R from 15 or 16 (doh) lol.

Because MikeC calls the rules, not you. And he says no swearing, so don't. If you don't like it, take it up with him via PMs. But don't be surprised if he gives you the boot. ;)

Because this is a privately owned forums (by MikeC) with rules of which "swearing" is a no no. Be warned.

Not at all, even he didn't post the link of the site, players will still know it if they are playing the same server as the cheater, since the cheater will spam the chat room with this rubbish. :afro:

Cheating in online games had been around as long as the games themselves,the UT series have had different anti cheat programs in effect since 2000.Sadly cheating seems to be part of human nature,taking shortcuts to make yourself better and more skilled than you really are .

Well Unreal Tournament has relied on third party cheat protection since the start with UT-Pure for ut99 and anti tcc for UT2003 plus finally safegame in ut2004.The current game has no cheat protection but apparently the safegame creator cruicky is working on that.Epic never made a effort into this and they didnt do it now either.Time/money restrictions who knows.

Post at the Crytek forums,there seems to be a lot of talented third party modders/coders/mapmakers and if crytek themselves wont pick up the gauntlet maybe one of the members will.

Unfortunately despite the best efforts of programmers to protect games; hacks will always exist, especially in FPS. Good admins are the key, though I find most "good" admins are a bit too loose with the ban key and oftentimes ban innocent players (like ME!) who are just good. :(

Idd,some admins do not like to get owned and will cry foul play when beaten since the thought of him getting beat without cheats just doesnt compute for him,hence people MUST be cheating.Its the same with every new game,some people start playing fps shooters online for the first time and fail to realize how long some people have been playing similar games.UT veterans for instance can do shots,kills with such speed that most new players would deem them as cheaters,they just cant understand how skilled some players are.

Crysis does support punkbuster but it seems like very few servers actually use it. I believe there is no cheating going on in the pb servers, but I could be wrong. There is TONS of cheating going on in the non-pb servers and unfortunately that means the majority of them. I'm hoping the patch will settle this.

It's really unfortunate because innocent players have to suffer. Both by having to deal with the cheaters and then being kicked by admins who think they are cheating just because they're good (happened to me).

I don't want to play Crysis either before the next patch and PB update. I was playing with a friend just yesterday when suddenly I guy bought a TAC tank and fired some kind of nukes that just killed every enemy on the map no matter where! The guy collected more than 100 frags in just a few minutes before we quit. Cheating has really become a problem in Crysis I think :(
