There are some folders that aren't "really" folders, not sure how to explain it, all I know is it seems like MS kept these folders for backwards compatibility and they aren't normally accessible via explorer. Try using the new c:\Users (I think that's it) path to get to their documents. Sorry don't actually have Vista available here @ work.

I got in, for a moment I had a brain fart. I deleted the security restrictions in the advanced tab for the folder (nana2) That got me in. Stalker stores its saved games in here and Vista just likes to be a pain in my ass! :thumbdwn:

Vista just likes to keep us on our toes. Make sure our skillz are l33+.

like Monolyth said, that folder is not a folder. but instead its a hardlink to C:\Users

MS created that hard link for backwards compability, everything that you need is C:\users

oh and btw, now that you ****ed up permissions on that hardlink, some programs and games won't install ;) have fun

Well here in AU you don't even have to speak to anyone anymore. You just press numbers to confirm it's only on one PC etc.

IVUs can be useful but if theyre not done properly you end up having the phonecall ended because they think they solved the problem. Its happened to me a few times.
