good thing you aren't using an asus board :p

I was almost bought this as well but I've decided to wait to see how the motherboard compatibility issues pan out.

Looks like a good block but I think I am more interested in the D-tek Fuzion now :D

EDIT: where did you purchase it from, is performance pcs carrying it now?

Yes thats where I now get all my watercooling. They ship same day usually and I live 3 hours away so I get everything next day when I order ground.

Oh and it almost didnt fit my board. It would have fit if i installed vertical like your supposed to but I like it better this way.

wonder if EK will be supplying new mounting plates free of charge since they screwwed up

I've had some bad experiences with performance-pcs but since they are so close I haven't completely sworn them off :D

What was the deal with the mounting plates?

Yea I figure if I ever have a problem I can walk in and kick some ass.

They are just big. Get in the way of some motherboard mosfet heatpipes.

because EK decided to make a universal mounting plate for both Intel and AMD cpus the block will not fit in asus motherboards and may have issues fitting on some other boards..

some people on XS are up in arms because the new mounting plates(now intel/amd independent) aren't going to be free :)

I like the way your setup looks, where do you have your radiator mounted?

EDIT: oh wait... I think I remember you having it above your PSU correct? Hell of a mod

Wow, that sucks. They really owe it to the customers unless it was explicitly stated that it doesn't work on some motherboards (and named them).

Yea links in my sig for when I first got it all setup. 2nd page.

I had to cut a hole in the back to lower the power supply then cut a hole in the top for the rad.

And thanks :)

Wow, with those types of bends I thought you were using 1/8" walled tubing.
