P5K deluxe :p Best P35 board out there and Vdamper makes it a no brainier for OCing... even if you dont want to its a option

Agreed, the I didn't know about the vdamper stuff so I went with ABIT because I'm a fan of theirs and quite liked the feature set. I still got a good overclock out of it but my voltage is at 1.44

You Abit is a good board as well one of my favs, but with Vdamper I hold 3.4GHz at 1.30V (nana2) so really I cant look any where else I'll stick with ASUS for now on.

P5K-e or deluxe, don't use bios higher than 0602 though.

Dude... keep that P5B-D.... no need to goto another board, expecially if you don't OC. It handles Quads just fine. I OC and I am running my quad on it, its an amazing board that also supports the new 45nm's :) I say stick with what motherboard you got! :)

One more vote for keeping the P965 board, unless you really want DDR3 which is still expensive. G92 GTS for sure or get a GTX if don't know what to do with the money.
In my case, Q6600 with P5B-E, managed 3.4GHz first hand, Q6600 with P5K... 3.4GHz after doing the pencil mod for vdroop, otherwise it was 3.2 stable with prime.

Exactly, I have a Q6600 and an Asus P5b deluxe. I can do 3.6ghz rock p95 stable with this board and my quad.

I could go even higher than that if cooling wasn't an issue.
