They reuse CryEngine 1 code, because that all they have and I seriously doubt those 2 -3 percent maybe they want to say that's the part of the new code :) I know ubi believe me :)

I think the Dunia engine will be really nice. But i am unsure if it will be better than cryengine. The lighting and weather system is just brilliant.

I hope for alot more realism in this game than in crysis. It looks very good so far, but the first pictures with the car need some AA for sure.

Here is a video showing of a demo from the game in early build. Watch especially the dense djungle in the beginning. That looks, imo better than the djungle part in crysis;

I honestly don't see a difference. This looks like an expansion pack to crysis if I didn't know any better.

The real difference will be how it performs vs. crysis, I usually like a game to look good and run well, I know, I know, that's alot to ask of a developer these days, it's usually one or the other, one can wish though...that his hardware get's used properly without bloat..someday...

dunia is not more advanced than cryengine 2, and it looks much worse than crysis. just compare 2 actual ingame screens that arent bullshots

It looks the same to me pretty much, and with no cryo suit, lets hope setting fire to grass, weather, and higher resolution textures is enough to edge it over crysis without require a quad-sli setup. ^^

CE2 with a totally different type of look. Can the Dunia engine look any different than it does in the official FC2 pictures.... that remains to be seen but CE2 has already proven that.

The sky and weather system is nicer in dunia engine. The textures are about the same. Alto i like the lighting in the dunia engine better somehow. Other than that, they are pretty much the same.

Just based on the screens I am seeing in this thread I believe the lighting and overall detail is a lot better in Crysis.

But as usual I have to wait until I actually have the game on my system to make a proper analysis.

I think what is cool about farcry 2 is how you can light the fields on fire would make for interesting tactics heard the enemy into a group then light em up :D , I think though the way the trees regrow almost instantly looks a bit tacky though.
