View Full Version : What franchise would you like to see as MMO?
Think of any old school RPGs that you played and give us reasons why you would like it as an MMO.
I would love to have RIFTS.

I have loved this game since I first read through the books. Post-Apocalypse and cross-genre, it is the wildest RPG I ever played. The classes are abundant and the expansions could be limitless.

none, I would like to see some creativity for a change.

RPGs? none specifically, the RPGs are about story mostly, and 9 times out of 10 are standard fantasy which already exist in MMOs.....for the most part.
Dragonlance
I'm with you on this. I would have to add in Forgotten Realms also.
The thing is, I am growing tired of fantasy MMOs and the sci-fi ones are just plain sucky.

Dragon Ball. That way all the "XxSSJGOKUxX" tards will flock to it and stay there - and therefore stay out of other online games. :D
Oh and Bleach too, for the same reason.

I also would say none.
MMO are usually very boring.

I see what you mean since it seems most MMOs are fantasy based, perhaps a Warhammer 40K MMO would be cool. I would also like to see a Ravenloft MMO. I loved the Forgotten Realms pc games like Icewind Dale and Baldur's Gate I and II, but I'd rather see something different now.
Oh almost forgot, I'd like to see a horror based MMO Lovecraft perhaps. Getting pwn3d by Cthulhu would be fun.
This is off-topic, but has anyone played Tabula Rasa?
I tried Tabula Rasa. It is very very bad IMO.
I think they put Garriots name on it to try to help sell it.
engine is terrible, no AA and lighting effects at same time, runs slow
UI leaves a lot to be desired, lacking customization
no end game goals
I could go on, but it's not worth it.
ah, i'll save my time dl'ing the trial then.
Warhammer 40k, they better not mess that up..
no limit to what you can do with that universe, its huge!
