I know what I'm buying once my 360 is out of warranty. Although buy then we'll probably almost have a new xbox anyways

that cool, but MS will probably sue them for that.

Naw, there's plenty of replacement cases around, those that looks like the original but with other colors and such.

I could see my self getting such a case for my 350, when warrenty is out and if it comes with the nessesary tools to open the 360. They have to look a lot better then the concept case tho. And id like to see the light circle transfered to the case too, with better design then the normal ugly one on the 360.
Prolly just easier to mod your own case come to think of it..

Lian-Li FTMFW!

I love my Lian-Li case. Sleek, dark, light, and cool.

Lian Liís representatives said that, due to the prototype caseís design, there is the chance for end users to replace the Xbox 360 hard drive with something cheaper and larger too, because Microsoftís drives arenít exactly good value for money when it comes to pounds per gigabyte.

Did you see that part?

something like this - touch screen and remote
http://www.frozencpu.com/products/6920/cst-650/SilverStone_Grandia_GD02-MT_Media_Center_HTPC_Case_w_Remote_and_Touchscreen _Black_SST-GD02S-MT.html?tl=g1c10s25

that would look nice.

Hmm... a bit too big for my taste.
I like the current casing. It's a shame it's so effing loud after an hour or two of playing. :(

I don't like the case, it makes it hard to get to the dvd drive, and we use the 360 as our dvd movie player.

As well, you cannot change your hard drive willy nilly to whatever you like, because MS doesn't let you do that.

All my 360s have died from DVD drive failure.

Personally I'd recommend just having a backup 360 if reliability is your concern. If you want a blinged out case with LEDs though...

$800 for a pair of Xbox360's? You've got to be kidding me. :headexplode:

Well if you already have a 360, you don't need to buy two. A 360 is less than $300 these days too. You don't need a second HDD do you?

That'd be pretty funny if your 360 failed while under warranty and you sent it back in the Lian Li case.

I'd like to see the tech support emails from that.

Fixing RLOD and dvd failure were a cinch. A simple reballing of the gpu, xclamp, new fans, dvd pot adjustment and we're good to go.

Yea I actually thought about that after I posted, wouldn't be hard to replace the DVD drive.

It isn't hard, however your dvd drive needs to have the right firmware to be considered OK by the 360.

IMO the lian li case is a waste of time, and I haven't been crying for it. If anything, previous posts on replacement (quieter) fans is what I've been wanting.
