Ugh, just what I need, Microsoft destroying my favorite peripheral manufacturer.

It doesn't matter. Logtech has made the MX5XX series which is mousing perfection. Microsoft can do whatever they want but the MX's have already been made so it's not a huge issue.

I agree.
When I hook my 360 control to my PC, you can watch the cross hairs jiggle in the controller properties and it will be sitting still on my desk. Playing games with it, it seems to always want to go a little bit one direction or another. It's like the thing never centers.

not only it never centers, but sticks are also loose about 1-2mm in each direction.

while the logitech sticks are centered all the time

That's half of the problem. The other half is the drivers and the inability to perform even the most basic operation such as setting a ****ing deadzone. XBCD drivers are adequate enough in that regard, but suck for any modern game that the controller is designed for.

**** Microsoft, **** Bill Gates, and **** the faggoty ass horse that the XBOX 360 controller for PC rode in on.

It's the same controller for the 360.

Oh no not Logitech :(
Logitech was on a run the last few years, they don't need to do this.

I know. I bought the 360 packaging and saved a few bucks shortly after when official support was announced. I just hate the whole idea of "FOR PC" when you put out a half ass product and driver and never listen to any of your customers.

Complete dominance over the computer peripheral market. Logitech is Microsoft's only real competition in the area of mice and keyboards. In fact, I'd say logitech is beating Microsoft quite soundly in this area. If they were to buy them, Microsoft would have total domination over this market, and that could be really bad.
