I'm with this, only I would have the Pats by 3 and GB by 14. The Jags are going to fight like hell and the Seahawks are going to roll right over.

I'm going out on a limb here, but:

Cowboys with TO (and/or without Jessica Simpson lol)>Giants
Giants > Cowboys without TO

Packers>Seahawks

Jags>Pats - Jags really pulled it out last week, I forsee a possible upset.

Colts>Chargers

If the weather is at all even a little bit bad I think the Jags take them.... or if Grady Jackson plops his fat arse down on panzy boy Brady once that could do it too.

Pansy boy? The guy just set the TD record and lead his team to 16-0. :headexplode:

If Grady plopped his fat arse down on ANYONE they'd be a pansy afterwards. :p I think the weather will work in the Pats favor tbh, but either way if both teams are at the op of their game this could rival the Pats/Giants debacle.

I obviously want the Pats to take it, but I surely want to see some great football from both teams.

LoL @ Methim - You know it's true. :D

Mannnnn

Grady came from my team too. I hate how that idiot Petrino cut him on the off week.

I need to pick a new favorite team now that my favorite players are gone, not because they suck. I loved watching Vick scramble and loved watching Kerney sack. They both come from local colleges (I'm in central VA) and that's one reason I liked Atlanta a lot. I don't count Deaneglo because he's more of a mouthpiece than a player.

I'll go into some more detail for the haters.

The Seahawks and the Pack will be the game of the week. Neither team has a stellar running game, and both like to win on the fly. It will be Seattle's experience versus Green Bay's talent and home field. Whoever has the fewest turnovers will win the game, and Seattle had very few turnovers this year, and it's Seattle's turn. Seahawks, 20-17.

Jags-Pats won't be as close to an upset as people say. The Pats are clear and away the better team here. No contest really. The Jags can't stop Brady and Co, and the Jags also can't score enough to keep up. Pats, 33-16

Cowboys-Giants is the second best game of the weekend. With or without TO, the Cowboys are the better team, and they always pwn the Giants. Whitten is Romo's favorite receiver, and he's playing. So is Marion Barber, who is better than Brandon Jacobs at this point. Romo and the Cowboys will win a close one at home, probably on a last minute scoring drive after a Giants field goal. I have foreseen it... Dallas 28-27.

Colts-Chargers is the game I want to be close but it won't be. LT can't do it alone... and with Gates hurt and Rivers completely inconsistent, they are no match for the reigning superbowl champs and all pro veterans Manning, Harrison, and Wayne. Dallas Clark is no slouch either. The Colts D are no slouches either come to think of it, and I anticipate that they will be pummeling Rivers into the turf over and over. Indy wins big at home: 42-24.

Very good post. I agree with all of it except for the Seahawks/Greenbay. I think GB will win this one by a field goal. I can't understand why people think the Jags can beat the Patriots, especially with a Florida team playing a very experienced NE team at home. I think some people let their wishes cloud their judgement. NE is going to spread the Jags out from the start and get a lead and then pound the tired Jag D with Maroney in the 4th.

I agree that the Colts will smoke the Chargers. The Chargers are an immature, undiciplined team who do not have what it takes to be a champions, easy Colts win.

Even though I think the Cowboys will win a close one it would not surprise me if the Giants pull this one out. There is always one big upset and I can see it happening here. Who knows maybe Romo chokes under pressure again like last year.

Im thinking the Jags have a chance because of that Pittsburg game. Wasn't Pitt rated pretty high on defense, higher than the Pats? I may be confused with another team though. It could also be a hint of wishful thinking.

edit: Yep, Pitt was #1 defense on ypg. #2 on ppg. I'm telling you, unless the Pats have been holding back, this will be a game!

The Patriots whipped Pittsburg and their top rated D. The Jags are Big and powerful but the Patriots are good at blocking this type of player. After they get tired from rushing Brady and not getting at him for 3 quarters , the Patriots will then change up and start running it down there throat. Seen it too many times. Also, they beat the Chargers, Cowboys and the Colts who are all > the Jags. The only team that can beat the Patriots are the Colts and the Patriots getting them at home I think will be the deciding factor.

People are also forgetting that coach B had 2 weeks to gameplan for this game which should include some things that Jacksonville has not seen.
