I noticed that some of the textures like the muzzle flash look a bit less colorful, but the rest of the gfx look just the same. ALT-TAB is broken now and I got the dreaded Vista graphics driver not responding when I tried to exit the game.

Yeah, GREAT NEWS!:thumbdwn:

Not officially released beta

two words u need to read: NOT and BETA

uhh... 25 FPS? Yea DX10 was quite a success!!?!?! LMAO.

Well, considering my DX10 FPS has far outperformed my DX9 FPS for a while now... extra boosts for DX10 only furthers the speed gap. NVIDIA had some performance trouble with DX10 off the bat, but it's definitely proving to be a great new technology.

I took these when the game first came out. I have yet to do another test after the patch, but I'm waiting for the 17X.XX driver series to do the next comparison.

I have more screenshots, but I really don't want to get into that argument here. There's plenty of proof popping up on Google as DX10 becomes more optimized. Just search for yourself. :)

Well, maybe they have fast cards, but the driver still lacks the performance said in DX10

On my 8800GTS (650/1620/1050) 1680*1050 all high no aa no af i get:
DX9: 29.65fps
DX10: 25.43fps

Its really interesting you get better performance with DX10. Your the first ive ever heard say that.
